Bicyclist Dies after being Struck by a Car in Countryside
The man died about an hour-and-a-half after the accident Tuesday at La Grange Memorial Hospital, the Doings reported.
A car struck a man riding a bicycle near the intersection of La Grange Road and 55th Street in Countryside around 6 p.m. Tuesday, the Doings reported.
Gary J. Ziolko, 57, later died of his injuries at La Grange Memorial Hospital, the paper said.
Police closed off 55th Street for several hours Tuesday night while they investigated the collision.
