Berwyn Man Issued DUI; Reckless Driver Reported

A 23-year-old Berwyn man, Edmond T. Scollard, was ticketed for driving while under the influence of alcohol and three other unidentified traffic violations when La Grange police stopped his car at 47th Street and East Avenue at about 1:53 a.m. March 10.

La Grange police received a call of a reckless driver weaving in and out of traffic while going south on LaGrange Road from Ogden Avenue at about 3:21 p.m. March 9. A police officer followed the vehicle to Cossitt Avenue and reported no sign of violations.

One vehicle was towed after a collision at about 4:42 a.m. March 11 at 47th Street and LaGrange Road but no more information was available on the La Grange police shift report.

One vehicle occupant refused transportation to a hospital by ambulance after a traffic accident at 47th Street and Spring Avenue at about 7:57 a.m. March 10. No more information was available.

A 43-year-old woman, Cynthia Schuch, was ticketed for driving while her license was suspended or revoked during a traffic stop at the 300 block of Bluff Avenue at about 7:50 p.m. March 10. Her hometown was not listed.

Alicia Poole, 41, of Chicago was ticketed for driving while her license was suspended or revoked and another unidentified charge when La Grange police stopped her vehicle at about 7:38 a.m. March 10 at LaGrange Road and Cossitt Avenue.

A 59-year-old Summit man, Donald O’Connell, was ticketed for driving while his license was suspended or revoked when La Grange police stopped his vehicle at Deyo and Ogden avenues in Brookfield at about 9:45 a.m. March 10.  

No injuries were reported when a blue Hyundai and black Jeep collided at about 5:21 p.m. March 9 at Ogden and Ashland avenues, La Grange police said.

A sport-utility vehicle hit another sport-utility vehicle that was parked in the 500 block of Sunset Avenue at about 9:36 p.m. March 9, La Grange police said. No other information was available on police shift reports.  

A 31-year-old Melrose Park woman, Tashera P. Ross, was ticketed for driving while her license was suspended or revoked and one other traffic violation when her vehicle was stopped by La Grange police in the 9100 block of 47th Street at about 7:54 p.m. March 9.
