GLEN ELLYN, April 13—The Chamber of Commerce warned merchants that a counterfeit $100 bill had turned up at a business in town. The man who allegedly spent the counterfeit bill was described as 60, white, with blond or gray hair and a bad complexion.

LA GRANGE, April 11—A 22-year-old man and 20-year-old woman who were arguing at about 12:31 a.m. at McDonald’s, 100 N. LaGrange Rd., were sent on their way by police.

ELMHURST, April 9—At 9:58 p.m. a resident of the 200 block of East Wilson Street reported that her dog started barking aggressively at her back door. When she went to see why, she saw a man in a black hoodie, black pants and gym shoes with yellow stripes, crouched down next to her neighbor’s basement window.
The woman yelled at the man and he fled through a neighbor’s backyard. Police set up a perimeter in the neighborhood and tracked the man with police dogs, but he got away.

LA GRANGE, April 8—Someone in a red Chevrolet was seen at about 6:02 p.m. pouring Seagram’s Seven whiskey into a glass of cola in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven, 6 E. 47th St. The person was gone when police arrived.
