2 Stolen Wallets, Brick through Car Window: Police Blotter

Wallet stolen

A wallet was stolen from a purse hanging over a woman’s chair around 8:45 p.m. at 1 S. La Grange Rd. A credit card from the wallet was used at Target in Hillside. The total loss was more than $500.

A woman said her son’s friend broke a window around 9:16 p.m. on her home in the 800 block of East, police said.

Someone threw a brick through the window of a car parked overnight in the 400 block of South La Grange Road, police said.

Wallet taken at Panera

A woman’s wallet was taken from her purse at Panera Bread, police said. The purse was left unattended while the woman picked up her food. The total loss was less than $500.
