Monday, April 29

Suspended, revoked driver’s license

Gustavo Torres-Aguilar, 25, of the 700 block of Inland Circle in Naperville, was arrested around 8:03 a.m. near the intersection of Ashland and Brewer, police said. He was charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Tammy A. Welch, 34, address not listed, was arrested around 10:41 a.m. near the intersection of La Grange and Harris, police said. She was charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Sunday, April 28

Slashed tires

Two tires were slashed on a car parked overnight in the 900 block of South 8th Avenue, police said.

Man throws rocks

A 24-year-old man threw rocks at the AT&T window, 34 N. La Grange Road, around 6:49 p.m., setting off the store’s alarm, police said. The man, along with a group of teenage friends who were there, admitted to throwing the rocks and said that they accidentally hit the window, police said. They were strongly warned and sent on their way.

Hit and run

Someone hit a car parked in the downtown parking garage and drove away after leaving a $20 bill on the windshield, police said.

Saturday, April 27

Teens harass Starbucks customers

Three teenagers were harassing customers in front of Starbucks around 9:34 p.m., police said. Officers found two out of the three teens and sent them on their way.

Homeless people sleeping in office

A building contractor found two homeless people sleeping in the office adjacent to Massage Envy, 1 N. La Grange Road, around 1:19 a.m., police said. Officers sent one of the people on his way; the other had already reportedly left for the BEDS shelter.

Friday, April 26

Hit and run in Cossitt School pickup line

A woman said her car was rear ended while she was waiting in line at Cossitt School around 3:37 p.m., police said. The other driver, who was in a red Mountaineer, refused to exchange information and drove away, police said. The collision caused minor damage, including a scuff.

Warrant arrest

Eliza Bernal, 33, of the 00 block of East George in Bensenville, was arrested around 4:11 p.m. at the police department on an outstanding warrant out of Deerfield for driving with a suspended license, police said.

Hit and run

A car was hit overnight in the lot at 2 N. La Grange Road, police said.
