Grand Avenue Preschool, LaGrange Highlands, Donuts for Dads Event a Success!

Grand Avenue Preschool dads from LaGrange Highlands, Indian Head Park, Western Springs come to school on a Saturday morning for donuts, play time, and an oppotunity to meet teachers and other dads.

On Saturday morning, February 2nd, students brought their dads to preschool. They met their teachers, explored the classrooms, played, ate donuts and met other dads. The event was chaired by Karen Houser, a member of our Parent Enrichment Group (PEG), responsible for creating opportunities for families to meet and socialize. The dads were happy to have a convenient time to share the preschool experience with their children.

Pictures were taken and PEG member, Renee Offenbacher, will compile a DVD for families to purchase toward the end of the school year. Susan Sherlock, is planning an Ice Cream Social for children and families in April. The positive support from parents strenghtens our program each year.
