Shoppers warm up to spring shopping at indoor sidewalk sale

Shoppers that are weary of winter weather can get a hint of spring at the Indoor Sidewalk Sale in La Grange on Saturday, March 15 when local retailers join forces to lure customers with special clearance prices.

Shoppers will find discounts at a variety of specialty shops featuring fashions, accessories, food items, gifts, home furnishings and more.  Participating retailers include:  Cheryl D and Co; Consign and Redesign; EcoManiacs; Horton's Home Lighting; Isn’t That Sweet; Lilett' Candies Gourmet Chocolate Shop; Luxe Home Interiors; Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory; The Carousel Shop; The Corner Shop; Vino e Birra, We’re Nuts and many more. 

The Indoor Sidewalk Sale is offered during regular business hours with plenty of complimentary parking nearby. 

The promotion is organized by the La Grange Business Association as part of an ongoing effort to draw traffic to the local retail and dining area and encourage residents to spend locally.

“It’s time to for shoppers to come out of hibernation,” said Nancy Cummings, the executive director of the La Grange Business Association.  “A day full of deals gives them a reason to do just that.”

Shoppers should look for the Indoor Sidewalk Sale window posters to know which merchants have something special in store including one-of-a-kind merchandise and even some buy one/get one offers. Offers vary by merchant.
