On Friday, Oct 4 the entire Saint Francis Xavier School student body, staff, parents, former teachers, and alumni came together to celebrate the recent announcement from the US Dept of Education recognizing Saint Francis Xavier as a 2013 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. Saint Francis Xavier was one of only 50 private schools nationwide to receive this prestigious award. Tom Livingston presented the school with an official proclamation from the Village of La Grange. All the principals from the feeder high schools for Saint Francis Xavier school, a representative from the Archdiocese of Chicago schools and other local village trustees also attended.
