Is Your Business "Growing" this Summer?

Growing your business and yourself this summer.

Are you growing this Summer? Wait, what?

I was getting ready to plant my annual flowers, in the pots around my house. But first I was going to have to remove all of the dead and living weeds in the pots.  I love the look of the flowers, but I don't like the Spring clean up or planting the flowers. And that got me wondering how many people are "growing" their business or themselves over the Summer, or are they talking themselves out of growing?

You know the reasons: If only I had more money, I would get right on that.  Another reason is: as soon as I get ____ done, then I will do ____. And my personal favorite is: the kids are out of school, and I'll get one it as soon as they go back to school. Then when the kids go back, it's, now that the kids are back in school, I have to get caught up on everything from the summer, then it's,  Thanksgiving, as soon as the holidays are over, I will get back to my dreams.  After the holidays, it's, I'm broke from the holidays, as soon as I have some money, then it's spring break, after spring break, I am really going to get busy.  Then it's the kids are almost out of school.....

Come on, be honest, I can't be the only one who used the "kids" as an excuse.

The truth is, all of these reasons are the "weeds" that we plant in our gardens or our minds, and we use them to keep from achieving our dreams and/or our goals.

So my question to you is: Are you growing over the Summer or are you stagnant?  You want to grow, but you have been in the same place for so long, and the weeds are piling up all around you that you can't see the garden anymore? And now it's might as well be a jungle, because you can barely see your dreams anymore through all this foliage.

So again, Are you growing this Summer?  If not, what "weeds" do need to go?
