Wilmette Couple Deliver La Grange Hospital's First 2014 Baby
Lukas Knuth was born at 6:43 a.m. through a water birth.

Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital welcomed the first baby of 2014 on New Year’s Day. Lukas Knuth was born to Erika and Christian Knuth of Wilmette at 6:43 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.
Lukas weighs 8 pounds, 8 ounces and is 20 inches long. He was delivered through a water birth by certified nurse midwife Beth Helme-Smith. He is the couple’s first child.
