Park District of La Grange Summer Camp Registration Is Underway!

Patrons are now able to register their children for
the Park District of La Grange Summer Camps, which will run in 9 one-week
sessions from June 9, 2014 to August 8, 2014.

The Park District offers five different summer camps
in both full and half day options. Camp Tiny Tots is the two- or
three-day-a-week half-day camp for preschoolers, while Camp Mighty Munchkins is
a full day camp for four-to-six year olds. The park district's popular
grade-school aged camps make their return for another year – the half day
Camp-A-Palooza and the full day Camp Quest.

Brand
new in summer 2014 is Adventure Camp, a full-day camp for 10-to-14 year olds at
the state-of-the-art Countryside Park. This is an outdoor-based camp, with
Mondays being regular camp days; Tuesdays and Thursdays being field trip days,
and Wednesdays and Fridays will consist of water activities.

Camp Mighty Munchkins, Camp-A-Palooza and Camp Quest
are all indoor and outdoor based, while Camp Tiny Tots takes place inside of
the Park District of La Grange's air-conditioned Recreation Center. Adventure
Camp is run outside and in case of severe weather will be moved to the
Recreation Center.

The
Park District also offers before and after care for its participants in Camp
Mighty Munchkins, Camp Quest and Adventure Camp for an additional fee.

This
year, the Park District of La Grange is offering its early bird registration discount.
Parents who register their son or daughter before March 31 will receive 10
percent off the registration fee of the camp. This discount does not apply to
before or after care, and a second child discount is not available during early
bird registration.
