Painting Workshop: Turning Oil into Snow

Use the winter's snowy landscape as an inspiration to take a Sunday workshop at the La Grange Art League. Instructor Jacque France will demonstrate techniques in how to paint a convincing snow scene in oils by using all the colors reflected in a winter landscape. The workshop will cover composition, tips on creating atmospheric perspective and color treatment. Reference photos will be supplied or you can bring your own. Photos should have good contrast.
