In this one day intensive workshop, we will begin to explore the possibilities of the encaustic painting medium. This workshop focuses on more traditional subject matters, such as still life and landscape. Students should bring a photo to work from. We will complete a small warm up painting from a still life, then move on to painting from a photograph.
