Award Winning Comic Book Artist to Appear at Library

Join DC Comics artist Gene Ha as he answers questions about the comics industry and gives a basic drawing lesson. La Grange Public Library will host Mr. Ha on April 16 at 5:00pm. This program is designed for teens and tweens, but anyone is welcome.

Gene Ha has worked in comics since 1992 on books like Fables, Justice League, and The Shade. He is most celebrated for his collaboration with Alan Moore and Zander Cannon on Top 10 and its prequel The Forty-Niners. The books won three Eisner Awards, the highest honor in comics, and have been reprinted in countries such as Poland, France, Brazil and Japan. He lives outside Chicago in Berwyn, IL where he found out from trick-or-treaters that he’s known as the friendly neighborhood comic book artist.
