EcoManiacs, the environmentally and
socially conscious boutique located in downtown La Grange, is officially a Certified Green Business! Please join
us at 10:00 am on Friday September 20th as we begin our
celebration with the Illinois Green Business Association (IGBA) presenting EcoManiacs with their Certified Green Business Certificate!
Since opening our doors on December
1, 2012, we have gone to great lengths to source only vendors who practice sustainability, have an environmentally friendly supply-chain from their site to our store, and who believe that taking care of the planet and the people on it is of utmost importance. The IGBA has worked
with us prior to opening our business and throughout the past several
months to ensure that we have incorporated these most important green
practices into our business. It is our honor to
have the LGBA and our amazing eco-friendly vendors join in our
green celebration. If you like Urban
Junkett, Blue Q, Simbihaiti, Green Toys, and more of our vendors, you’re going
to love our give-aways!
We will also have some very special
guests waiting to meet you: Come meet Megan Owdom-Weitz, designer of the unique
and fun clothing line Megan Lee Designs, from 4:00 - 5:30 pm on Friday! Charlotte Clary, one of the creators of the "good for you"
candy Ice Chips and seen on the TV show Shark Tank, will be in store throughout
the weekend!
