Aging Care Connections 13th Annual Sports Ball Benefit Gala

Comedian Pat McGann to Headline Aging Care Connections’

                        Sports Ball Benefit Gala
     

     Aging Care Connections’ thirteenth annual
Sports Ball benefit gala will be held Friday, May 16 at 6:00 pm at Pinstripes,
Oak Brook.  Comedian Pat McGann will
headline an evening of tailgate cocktails, skybox dining, auctions, bocce and
bowling.  Sports Ball is Aging Care
Connections’ major fundraising event held to support the organization’s social
service programs assisting  those 60
years of age and older in suburban Cook County.         

     Pat McGann is a Chicago comedian who
recently appeared on the "David Letterman Show."  He created and hosted the Emmy-nominated

television show "The Chicago Stand Up Project" and regularly appears

on "Comcast Sports Talk Live," "Windy City Live" (ABC),
"Mancow & Good Day Chicago" (Fox), WGN Morning News, WGN Radio

and ESPN Radio.

     Sports Ball auction items showcasing the chance to ride
the Blackhawks’ Zamboni; trips to Coronado Island, Scottsdale, and Napa Valley;
the Heisman football signed by all winners present at the December, 2013
ceremony; a Notre Dame package including a football autographed by alumnus and

Heisman Trophy winner John Lattner who will attend Sports Ball, and the

opportunity to “borrow” John Lattner’s Heisman trophy for two weeks, will make
for exciting bidding.     

     Celebrity athletes who are confirmed
to attend Sports Ball at this time are Emery Lehman, 2014 Winter Olympics speed skater; John Lattner, 1953 Heisman Trophy winner; Kurt Becker of the 1985 Super
Bowl Bears; and Ken Geiger, former Bears scout.
