'West Suburban Living' Spotlights La Grange in Best of the West Issue

Numerous La Grange landmarks also receive a shout-out in the March/April issue of the magazine.

You and I know La Grange is an awesome place to live. Now everyone else in the area does too, thanks to a seven-page feature in the March/April issue of West Suburban Living.

The magazine spotlights La Grange in its annual “Best of the West” issue, which praises the village for the way its sophisticated downtown melds with a “front-porch, we’ve-got-your-back neighborliness.”

Restaurants including Prasino and Palmer Place, as well as Tate’s Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Shop, all get a shout out, as do the Clipper Ship Gallery, Horton’s Home Lighting and newcomer Painted Rubbish.

And of course, no feature about La Grange would be complete without mention of the Pet Parade, which celebrates its 67th year in June.

“We may have moved away to other communities for a job or after college,” village president candidate Tom Livingston told the magazine, “but when it came time to pick a community that has many aspects that parents are looking for—and that people with growing families are looking for—La Grange really has everything going on.”
