VETERANS MEMORIAL FUND

The Community Park District of La Grange Park is proud to announce the creation of the Veterans Memorial Fund; a grassroots campaign to build a newer and more visible tribute to all veterans; past, present, and future. The new memorial will be located in the northeast corner of Memorial Park at the corner of Oak and Sherwood Avenues. All donation amounts are tax deductible. There are several suggested levels of support; each with equivalent recognition. For as little as $100, donors can order an engraved brick that honors a veteran family member or friend. The fund also accepts in-kind donations of construction materials and services that match construction specifications. Those who wish to participate can find a brightly colored pamphlet with a donation form at the Park District offices, the Village of La Grange Park, La Grange Park Library, and several local businesses. The pamphlet is also available on the Park District website, www.cpdlgp.org. In order that the new memorial is completed in time for a May 26, 2014 dedication, we ask that all donations be made prior to December 31, 2013.
