La Grange Citizen's Council Has Been Around Since 1941, But What Is It? And Why Does it Matter?

Here's a simple way to get involved and contribute to the community.

What is the Council?:
The Citizens’ Council of La Grange is a non-partisan, volunteer organization dating back to the 1941 and strives to promote and maintain the best possible government for all La Grange citizens.

The Council serves the residents of La Grange, Illinois by seeking, evaluating, and recommending candidates for the Village, Library, and Park District Boards and informing residents on local topics, issues and government.

The Citizens’ Council is just that – a council for the citizens by citizens. It is not a caucus or a political party.  It is a community organization that is comprised of representatives from each of the 11 voting districts within La Grange.
