CITIZEN'S COUNCIL OF LA GRANGE SLATING SESSION TONIGHT @ 7:00 AT VILLAGE HALL

Informing yourself about local government couldn't be easier.

Last week was the Council's first glimpse at the candidates for the Library Board. Tonight we will further review these candidates as well as the candidate for the Park District before a vote and ultimately the slating of candidates.  The Village President and Village Trustee candidates will be slated Wednesday, November 28th. The purpose of these sessions is to create a forum that allows the Council and community members to review the candidates and ask them questions regarding their capabilities, experience and vision for the board for which they are seeking election. The candidates for the Library Board are: Mary Nelson, Sue Mulcahy, Becky Spratford, William Coffee, and Tim Kelspas.  The Park District candidate is Robert Ashby.

The scheduled slating sessions (tonight and November 28 @ 7:00PM) are open to the public and we welcome the citizens of La Grange to participate in these meetings.  Please note that the voting is limited to Council members only.  If you are unable to attend you can follow the proceedings via twitter @CitizensCouncLG and Facebook: Citizens Council of La Grange.

You can find out more information about the candidates and how to become a member of the Council at www.lgcitizenscouncil.org
