Maxillofacial Prosthodontist Brings Expertise to Loyola’s Oral Health Care Center

Michael T. Kase, DMD, brings his expertise in maxillofacial prosthodontics to Loyola University Health System. He is an integral part of Loyola’s Oral and Maxillofacial surgical team as well as the Oral Cancer treatment team.

Dr. Kase treats some of the most complex patients who have defects of the face and neck area due to cancer, surgery, trauma and birth defects. He has a passion for cancer care and research.

With only about 200 of these specialists in the nation, Dr. Kase’s unique skill set offers hope to many patients who may think they have no options.

“It’s so rewarding to treat my patients. They are so appreciative of what we do. Many don’t even believe that what I can do to help is possible. It’s so great to be able to offer them that hope,” said Dr. Kase.

He received his doctor of dental medicine degree from Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry Temple University. He earned a certificate in prosthodontics from University of Alabama at Birmingham and Birmingham VA Prosthodontics Clinic. He earned a certificate in maxillofacial prosthodontics from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
