Natural Food Store to Open in La Grange Park

A natural food and supplement retail store will open in the former Home Economist space at the Village Market Shopping Center, according to the Village of La Grange Park.

Lombard-based chain, Fruitful Yield, sells everything from vitamins to food products to body care products, and manufactures their own supplements and nutritional products under the name of Now Foods, with manufacturing and distribution sites also located in Illinois.  

Fruitful Yield stores are currently located in Aurora, Batavia, Berwyn, Bloomingdale, Darien, Elmhurst, Joliet, Lombard, Schaumburg, South Elgin and Oswego. For more information on Fruitful Yield, according to the village.

"The landlord and Fruitful Yield have much work to do in anticipation of opening the new 5,700-square-foot store," according to the village.  

The village anticipates work will be completed over the summer and the new business will open sometime in the fall, barring any delays.

Renovations will likely take place at the same time as the work planned at the neighboring Panera Bread, according to the village.
