has hired a new CEO following a nationwide search, who will begin his new role on June 30, according to a press release from the hospital.
Lary A. Davis, 58, comes to La Grange Memorial from Adventist Health Systems Tampa, Fla. region, where he previously served as vice president of physician strategies. Davis replaces Rick Wright, who formerly served as CEO and left La Grange Adventist in 2011.
The hospital is touting Davis' more than 20 years of senior-level healthcare experience, much of it from when he served as president and CEO of Sonora Regional Medical Center in Sonora, Calif.
The hospital said Davis will also be working closely with Michael J. Goebel, CEO at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, to make both hospitals stronger.
