David Hasselhoff Gives LTTV a Shoutout in 1994 Video

"Hi, it's David Hasselhoff."

David Hasselhoff just might be Lyons Township High School’s most controversial alumnus.

But he did a solid for the student producers of LTTV in 1994 by recording this seven-second promo, archived on YouTube.

“Hi, it’s David Hasselhoff, and I graduated in 1970, believe it or not,” he said into the camera. “You’re watching LTTV. See ya.”

The actor/musician/burger enthusiast offers the slightest pause between the LT and TV, making the cable access channel sound the most like a soap opera network that it ever will. It’s not surprising, however, considering he recorded the sound bite at the height of his Baywatch fame.

Watch and enjoy in honor of the next generation of potential Hoffs and Hoffettes as they celebrate their last weekend of summer before school starts Monday.
