Nazareth Academy Gets 'Greened Up' for 'Shrek: The Musical'

Students at Nazareth Academy are getting all greened up to present Shrek the Musical, the hit movie-turned-Broadway show in the school’s state-of-the-art auditorium.

This family=friendly show tells the story of an unlikely hero and his loyal steed Donkey as they embark on a quest to rescue the beautiful (if slightly temperamental) Princess Fiona from a fire breathing, love-sick dragon. Add the diminutive Lord Farquaad, a gang of fairytale misfits, and a biscuit with attitude, and you’ve got the biggest, brightest musical comedy around.

Performances are: Thursday through Saturday, April 3-5 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
