This year's theme is "Hometown Holiday."  It promises to be a magical evening as downtown La Grange is transformed into a winter wonderland for residents and visitors of La Grange.  A highlight of the evening includes the arrival of Santa by fire truck and the tree lighting at the Village Hall.  Other activities planned for the event include sleigh rides, live music, a petting zoo, pony rides, individual visits with Santa, face painting and a bonfire with s'mores.

In addition to the planned activities, local merchants will have their doors open for sampling food, drinks, snacks, goodies and of course, shopping.  Over 50 local businesses are sponsoring this event, including the presenting sponsors Monday's Child, MacNeal Physicians Group and Fair Brakes and Muffler.

Kerri Klun, event coordinator for the evening adds that "the spirit of the La Grange community is something that resonates throughout the village all year long and is seen with much enthusiasm during the Hometown Holiday.  The sponsors and local businesses put on a great event and foster that spirit.  The Holiday Walk gives us all an opportunity to experience what La Grange means to it's businesses, residents, and visitors."
