Warm Through Tuesday, Chance of Snow by Weekend

From a Monday in the high 60s, temperatures are forecasted to fall back below freezing by Sunday night.

There is no way this is December, right? I hibernated through the winter and it's actually April, right?

The unbelievable warm streak that has given Chicagoland one of the warmest starts to a December on record as the year 2012 continues to set many record highs. (Remember that 60-degree day back in February?) It may finally end for good with a soft transition into sub-freezing temperatures by the end of this week, though, perhaps even with a bit of snow.

Here's your weather:

Monday: Cloudy and breezy with a chance scattered showers during the day, cloudy with showers and thunderstorms at night. High 60s during the day, mid 40s at night.

Tuesday: Sunny during the day, mostly clear at night. Mid 50s during the day, low 30s at night.

Wednesday: Sunny during the day, partly cloudy at night. High 30s during the day, mid 30s at night.

Thursday: Cloudy with a chance of showers through the day and into the night. High 40s during the day, high 30s at night.

Friday: Cloudy with a chance of showers though the day and into the night. Low 40s during the day, mid 30s at night.

Saturday: Partly sunny during the day, mostly cloudy at night. Low 40s during the day, low 30s at night.

Sunday: Cloudy and rainy during the day, cloudy with a chance of snow showers at night. Low 40s during the day, high 20s at night.
