Rocktoberfest: Bands, Beers and Celebrity Bartenders!

Rocktoberfest comes to Gordon Park in La Grange on Sept. 15 with food, music, a bags tournament, raffle prizes and more.

Gordon Park. Beers. Rock and roll. Could it be any better?

returns to in La Grange this September and features cold beers, a bags tournament and plenty of rock and roll.

Presented by the , this fun-filled annual event will be the talk of town. Things kick off on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. and keep on kicking until 10 p.m. at Gordon Park, located at the corner of Ogden Avenue and La Grange Road.

A general admission ticket costs $15 if you buy it online, or $20 if you purchase it at the door.

Music

Musical acts performing this year include Far Sighted—a band comprised of students who know how to start the night off right. Far Sighted will be followed by local suburban rock group, The Bad Dads. Closing the night's festivities will be Infinity: a Journey tribute and 80s rock and roll band.

Cold Beer Poured by a Local Celebrity

Grab your beer and have it poured by a local celebrity. These local celebs will be competing to win the coveted title of Celebrity Bartender of the Year! Stay tuned for a list of who the featured guests will be this year.

Bags Tournament

Sure, you've got skills in the driveway, but how about in front of a crowd? Teams of two will be competing in a bracket-style bags tournament that will give you some serious bragging rights when you get back home. Winning teams will move on to the Rock the Bags championship and an entry into the World Championship of Cornhole.

Great Eats

Don't forget the food. With vendors like , La Cabanita, Cheese Force 1 and Girons, you know you'll leave happy and full.

It's All for a Good Cause

Music, beer, bags and food are all well and good (and reason enough to go), but what really makes this event, is that is all goes to a good cause.
