Nazareth Congratulates the Class of 2013
On May 26, 2013 Nazareth Academy held a Graduation Mass for the 211 graduates of the Class of 2013. These graduates will attend 79 colleges across 22 states. They have earned over $18.4 million in merit-based scholarships and awards.The Class of 2013 boasts 3 National Merit Scholars, 5 National Merit Scholarship Program Commended Scholars and 48 Illinois State Scholars.   

Legislators considering Illinois' first concealed carry law
Local LaGrange and Western Springs Families gathered on Monday to protest Illinois House Speaker Madigan’s support of an NRA-endorsed concealed carry law (SB2193). We STRONGLY urge residents of LaGrange and Western Springs to speak out on concealed carry legislation as the Illinois legislature is working on crafting Illinois' first law permitting residents to carry concealed weapons RIGHT NOW.  

La Grange Lions Club to Present Check at Pet Parade
The La Grange Lions Club will present a check for $61,746.00 to the Foundation for Retinal Research in the name of two local children, Patrick and Mirielle St. Arnaud, for their fight against Leber Congenital Amaurosis (a retinal degenerative disease characterized by a severe loss of vision at birth).

V A has quicker process for claims!
The Veterans Benefits Administration last year introduced a process that is designed to simplify and expedite the claim process. The form that the VA uses is referred to as the “VA 21-526EZ” (Application for disability compensation and related compensation benefits).
