Heuer, he said, "Embodies the endearing qualities this award seeks to recognize every year. Coming from someone who greatly benefitted from the trail Mark and past Fathers Club presidents blazed before me, I witnessed Mark’s wisdom, passion, energy and extraordinary work ethic. These are the qualities that make Fathers Club and Nazareth Academy even better today.  It is this man’s dedication to our school and our community that make him so deserving of this honor.”

Heuer is a Portfolio Manager for BMO Global Asset Management, Corp. He served as the Fathers Club President in 2006-2007. He also chaired the Jack Wheeler Golf Outing for three years, according to a news release from Nazareth Academy. He and his wife Mary’s two children, Bridget '04 and Tim '09, attended and graduated from Nazareth.
