Grab Some Tissues and Read These Letters

Honor flight veterans send in their thank you notes.

In a letter to residents, Peter Geddeis, director of student activities at Lyons Township High School, had this to say updating supporters of a recent Honor Flight for area veterans:

"Something pretty cool started happening today: the thank-you letters from our Honor Flight veterans started arriving," Geddeis wrote in an email.

Geddeis has begun to scan and post them to the LT website, so everyone in the community can take a look. You can view the letters here, but be prepared for some tears.
