Grab your Easter baskets!
Youngsters ages 9 through 14, that have outgrown the kiddie hunt are invited to bring their friends, a flashlight and a basket for a night of hunting for hundreds of prize-filled eggs and candies under the stars.
The LaGrange Park District’s fourth annual Tween Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt happens this Friday, April 11, in Sedgwick Park located at 10 Ave & 48th St.
There will be lots of chances to win cool prizes, so be sure to check your eggs before leaving the event. The egg hunt would not be complete without a certain glow. Each participant will receive a glow stick that can be worn as a necklace or bracelet to help better see the eggs and the competition.
Hunts for three age groups are planned:
- Ages 9-10, 8 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
- Ages 11-12, 8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Ages 13-14, 8:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
All kids must be accompanied by a parent.
Register by April 10th for the early bird rate of $3 per child or day of fee for $5 per child.
In case of inclement weather the Easter Egg Hunt will be moved to the Recreation Center, 536 East Avenue, La Grange.
