Breezy Monday then Semi-Mild Week Ahead

There's a chance of some snow by the very end of the week, but the melt comes first.

Allegedly, those little wisps of snow that we got on Friday night was actually part of the same Nemo that pounded New England into submission this weekend. Tough news for local fans of snow sports: it was no more than wisps, couple inches at best, and that still looks like all anyone is likely to get this winter.

The clock is ticking down for Chicago to get creamed by any real snowstorm, and it may just run out. By midweek this week, even the little piles of white you might still be able to see on Monday should be

Monday: Very windy with a 30 percent chance of snow showers during the day, windy and mostly cloudy at night. Mid 30s during the day, mid 20s at night.

Tuesday: Partly sunny during the day, partly clear at night. Mid 30s during the day, high 20s at night.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny during the day, mostly cloudy at night. Low 40s during the day, low 30s at night.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain during the day, mostly cloudy with a slight chance of flurries at night. Low 40s during the day, low 20s at night.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow showers through the day and into the night. Mid 20s during the day, mid 10s at night.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a 30 perent chance of snow through the day and into the night. Mid 20s during the day, mid 10s at night.
