Wild Monk’s New Spring Menu Highlights House-Made Craft Foods
LaGrange, IL - - March 5, 2014 - - Wild Monk, the lively gastropub sibling of award-winning prasino, takes “craft” to a new level, unveiling a spring menu of house-made foods that rival its beverage selections.

From corn ale chowder to fried chicken tacos, Wild Monk Executive Chef, Franke Vasquez, has created fun, flavorful tastes that are inspired by the pub’s aromatic hops on tap.

“We offer such a gorgeous menu of craft beers and specialty cocktails,” says Vasquez,” so I wanted our new menu to be equally distinct.”
Sauces like Worstershire ailoli and proscuitto mustard are handcrafted. Pastrami and corned beef are house-made. And craft beer is infused into everything from tartar sauce to braised cabbage. New menu highlights include:

Trio of grilled sirloin burgers, arugula, house-made Worstershire aioli, fries

Thinly sliced green plantain, garlic tomato aioli
Stuffed Fresno Peppers
Roasted Fresno peppers, stuffed with goat cheese

Complementing Wild Monk’s new Spring menu are seasonal weekly specials.
They include: Monk Monday (25% off all food & $1 drafts); Taco Tuesday ($2 tacos & $4.50 craft bottles); Hump Day/Burger Night Wednesday ($5 Burger & fries and $5 drafts); Ladies Night Thursday (1/2 price flatbreads & $9 signature cocktails).
