Music Featured at BEDS Plus Benefit-Western Springs

The second annual Soup & Bread fundraising event benefiting BEDS Plus takes place on Sunday, January 26 from 4:30– 7 pm at the Village Club of Western Springs, 4221 Lawn Avenue in Western Springs. Tickets are $25 per person and $50 per family (limit 5).  Enjoy live music by Folk Troubadour Mark Dvorak and Illinois singer/songwriter Sharon Speziale.

Savor soup dishes from popular local restaurants including Whole Foods Market Hinsdale, Now Serving Cafe & Catering, Sweet Tomatoes, Mattone Restaurant, Mecenat, and Nickson's.

 Mark Dvorak, who was named "Chicago's Troubadour" by WFMT 98.7fm fine arts radio, has sustained a career of performing, recording and teaching that has spanned more than twenty-five years. He has performed in thirty-six states and several countries abroad with only his guitar, 5-string banjo and his songs. His 2011 Waterbug release, Time Ain't Got Nothin' On Me, received national airplay and rose to number 14 on the Cashbox Roots Music report.
