La Grange Park Library Genealogy Corner Opening & Program

The La Grange Park Library officially opens its new Genealogy Corner, Saturday, December 7, 1:30 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Following the ceremony at 2 p.m is a special program introducing residents to FamilySearch, with professional genealogist Maureen Brady.
"Less than five percent of the world's genealogical records are available online," said Dixie Conkis, Library Director. "Our selection at a FamilySearch affiliate gives our community access to thousands of historic records not available online."
