On Wednesday, January 5, Mr. Gonzalez’s Economics classes welcomed speakers from the "Real World Skills for a Real Tough World" program, sponsored by Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches.
The Jimmy John’s team spoke with Nazareth students in three different sessions about how to make the best first impression, how to fill out an application, how to prepare for an interview and, most importantly, how hard work pays off. They will even conduct mock job interviews with Naz students. Plus, they treated the students to Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches!
“This experience will help our students better themselves in a very competitive job market these days. In class, we discuss human resources a lot, so it's nice for them to hear it from professionals in the business world. Naz students can make themselves better applicants,” says Mr. Gonzalez.
