The inaugural Berwyn Brew Fest will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Fest will feature over 80 unique beers from craft breweries around the country as well as live music and food from some of Berwyn’s favorite restaurants. Expand your palate while getting back to nature. The fest will take place at Proksa Park, situated just blocks from the Depot District. Free parking is available along the BNSF Metra tracks and fees will be waived in the Depot District Parking Facility at 3320 S Grove Ave on the day of the event. A free shuttle will taxi event-goers between Proksa Park and the parking deck. Or you can simplify, take the train and walk!

Anthony Griffin, Berwyn Development Corporation (BDC) Executive Director, commented, “We welcome everyone from beer novices to enthusiasts to enjoy an afternoon in Proksa Park, one of our local gems. Great beer in a great venue will make for great times.”

The net proceeds from the festival will benefit the Moving Wall Initiative. The Moving Wall is the half-size replica of the Washington, D.C. Vietnam Veterans Memorial. It was conceived of and built by Vietnam Veterans, John Devitt, Gerry Haver and Norris Shears as a remembrance and healing tool for all those people who may never have a chance to visit the Memorial in Washington, D.C.
