3rd Annual Rotary Run 3.14 Pie a huge success

It was a perfect Thanksgiving to run the Rotary Run 3.14 Pie through the tree-lined streets of La Grange. An astounding 2400 runners came out to run the 3rd Annual Rotary Run 3.14 Pie Thanksgiving morning. There were runners dressed as Turkeys and Indian Princesses. There were also Pilgrim and Native American runners. The first 1000 runners that registered were given Sara Lee Pumpkin Pies. Young volunteers; Avery Sanders and Anna Mapes, helped hand out the pies to the runners. The Runner’s Soul La Grange (through its affiliate TRS Racing) has created this partnership with proceeds from the race going to support The Rotary Club of La Grange and all of its charitable activities.
