Plymouth residents enjoyed the first-ever concert of the Plymouth Place Chimers, a 16-resident musical group that plays chimes. Much like a bell choir, the chimes are musical instruments of various sizes that residents ring to make music.
"This is the ultimate brain fitness," said Rita Lopienski, Plymouth Place's Director of Life Enrichment. "Residents need to count along to read the music and physically move to make the sounds. It's very tricky and they did a fantastic job getting ready for their first performance."
Along with the chimes concert, the Plymouth Place Players performed the Gift of the Magi, arranged by Plymouth Place Resident Dick Best, and the How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The Plymouth Place Chorus sung a selection of Christmas songs.
