BULLS/SOX ACADEMY TO HOST THANKSGIVING
BASKETBALL AND BASEBALL CAMPS IN LA GRANGE
LISLE, IL. – The Bulls/Sox Academy announced that it is hosting a Thanksgiving Chicago Bulls Basketball Camp and Chicago White Sox Baseball Camp over the holiday weekend at the Park District of La Grange Recreation Center located at 536 East Avenue in La Grange.
Are you truly looking for a one-of-a-kind camp? The
Bulls/Sox Academy Thanksgiving Combo Camp is a two-day, eight hours a day camp that gives the two-sport athlete the ability to improve their offensive and
defensive game in both basketball and baseball/fastpitch. Half of each day will be spent fine-tuning your baseball skills while the other half of the day will be devoted to the
basketball courts working on your game. Both camps are led by our professional Academy coaches. An hour for lunch will be given each day. Players will be grouped by age and ability level. The Thanksgiving Combo Camp is open to boys and girls ages seven to fourteen
and will be held on Friday, November 23rd and Saturday, November 24th from 9:00am-4:00pm. The cost is only $190.00 per athlete.
The one sport stars have an opportunity to shine over Turkey Day weekend with a Chicago White Sox baseball camp or a Chicago Bulls Basketball Camp being offered separately in Glen Ellyn.
The Chicago White Sox Thanksgiving Baseball Camp is designed to make sure your athlete is ready for the 2013 season through a variety of offensive and defensive skills
training including hitting, fielding, base running and much more. Players will be grouped by age and ability level. This two-day camp is open to boys age seven to fourteen. The camp will run Friday, November 23rd and Saturday, November 24th from 9:00am-12:00pm. The cost is only $105.00 per athlete.
The Chicago Bulls Thanksgiving Basketball Camp will consist of shooting, ball handling and defensive drills to get players ready for the upcoming season. Players will be grouped by age and ability level. This two-day camp is open to boys and girls ages six to fourteen. The camp will run Friday, November 23rd and Saturday, November 24th from 1:00pm-4:00pm. The cost is only $105.00 per
athlete.
The Bulls/SoxAcademy opened in 2001 in Lisle, Illinois and runs extensive training programs in basketball, baseball, fastpitch softball, and sports conditioning for boys

More About Park District of La Grange
"Your fun destination" is the slogan of the Park District of La Grange, and that's what the district's executive director, Dean Bissias, wants to provide for the La Grange community. The park district aims to meet the demand for resources supporting the large number of soccer, baseball and basketball players in La Grange. "We have a great relationship with the Chicago White Sox," Mr. Bissias says. "The White Sox rent space from us and the players do camps for kids in the off season."
The park district is currently adapting to its new facility, a former warehouse the village converted in 2006 (for the previous 80 years, the district had operated out of a 1,200-square-foot house). The current facility sports high ceilings, spacious common areas with flat-screen TVs, giant windows and a gymnasium with several full basketball courts encircled by a running track.
