Bringing Balance to Life Using the Body’s Natural Channels: Asanas for the Chakras
What is your life like, right now? Have you had major life changes? Job loss, new job, a big move? Do you feel a lack of interest in socializing, or do you feel bored and anxious when you aren’t socializing? Are you over-confident, or conversely, feel low self-esteem? Do you have a problem connecting with others, or do you over empathize with others, “feeling” their pain? Do you find yourself talking to fill the silence, or do you have a problem expressing yourself? These are a few of the “symptoms” that can indicate an imbalance in one or more of our chakras, or energy centers, that are positioned along the spine.
Breathing and yoga postures can help open and balance the chakras. In this workshop, we’ll discuss each of the chakras, and move into poses and use breathing techniques to work towards removing the blockages at each energy center.
