The Principle of Time – There is no process that does not require time
There is no process that does not require time. Do you get cancer when you find out? What is the first sign of heart disease? Did you one day wake up and have arthritis? Did the weight of picking up that tissue have your back go out or herniated a disc in your back? The answer to all of these is NO. The first sign to heart disease is a heart attack. Disease is a PROCESS that takes time.
If you live a lifestyle of eating bad fats, bad sugars, always on the rush, constantly mentally stressed from your job, finances, living paycheck to paycheck, sitting down on a computer 8 hours a day and watching TV 3 hours a day and you do this for 10 years, how will your health be?
Can we say you will be experiencing chronic diseases, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high sugar levels, overweight, risks of cancer, heart disease, diabetes and stroke go up?
If we live this lifestyle for 10 to 20 years and the body is still fighting to stay alive, why do we think we should have health instantly? If you go see a Chiropractor, do you think it will be one adjustment? 12 adjustments? When you prepare for a marathon, do you just train with one run and then take on the task of a marathon? Or, do you go to the gym one time and expect to have the body you desire? The answers are NO.
Just as disease is a process that takes time, so is HEALING. Healing is a process that takes time to help remove the interferences with the wisdom of the body so instead of focusing its energy on the stress responses (physical, chemical, mental/emotional), it can focus its energy on self-healing and self-regulating.
Until next time…
BE well… LIVE well… The CHOICE is yours…
