LaGrange resident Jeff Mentz along with Mike Pinelli, Steve Reifel, Matt Austin and Chris Meno attended the Trademark Tavern (777 E. Butterfield Rd., Lombard; 630-472-0777) grand opening party on July 16.

More than 300 guests gathered this past Monday to view the upscale twist on the classic American neighborhood tavern. The owners of the new establishment Matthew and Mandy Lewandowski and their partner George Cibula – have created an inviting gathering space complete with multiple private dining areas. The reasonably priced contemporary American menu was designed by Executive Chef Geoff Silverwood, and is filled with a variety of shareable food choices. The restaurant also boasts a noteworthy beverage program with 30 specialty beers on tap; and a wide selection of wine and cocktails. The main dining room is open from Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
