Snow on Christmas Day? It's Possible!

There's a good chance of at least seeing some flurries on either Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.

So despite making travel a miniature disaster for some at end of last week, the "thundersnow," while at least ending that goofy streak of snow-free days, didn't really turn out to be much.

However, there might be a bit more of the white stuff on the way to provide Western Springs and La Grange with a white Christmas after all.

Here's your weather:

Monday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of wintry mix during the day, cloudy at night. Mid 30s during the day, mid 20s at night.

Tuesday: Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow showers during the day, cloudy with a slight chance of snow at night. Mid 30s during the day, high 20s at night.

Wednesday: Cloudy and windy with a 50 percent chance of snow during the day, cloudy with a slight chance of snow at night. Low 30s during the day, mid 20s at night.

Thursday: Partly sunny during the day, mostly cloudy at night. Low 30s during the day, mid 20s at night.

Friday: Cloudy during the day, mostly cloudy at night. Low 30s during the day, high 20s at night.

Saturday: Cloudy with a chance of snow showers through the day and into the night. Low 30s during the day, low 20s at night.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy through the day and into the night. Mid 20s during the day, mid 10s at night.
