Police: Mopeds, Jewelry Stolen; Eggers Strike Again
Police also respond to call about youth behaving badly.
Two electric mopeds worth more than $300 were reported at 6 p.m. Oct. 15 as stolen in the 100 block of East Cossitt Avenue.
Earrings and $75 were reported at 8:21 a.m. Oct. 15 as missing out of an apartment in the 300 block of Bluff Avenue.
Two incidents of egging were reported Oct. 16 in La Grange within 10 minutes of each other. A La Grange man reported his car was hit by eggs about 10:43 p.m. in the 100 block of North Ashland Avenue by occupants of a black Honda sport utility vehicle. Another La Grange man said he was hit at 10:52 p.m. in the 0-100 block of South LaGrange Road by someone in a green Jeep.
La Grange police responded at about 3:30 a.m. Oct. 16 to a call of unruly teens in the emergency room of Adventist Memorial Hospital, who were refusing to leave. Hospital security responded and La Grange police told the youths they were not allowed there.
Police also received a call at about 4:28 p.m. Oct. 15 of a large group of kids playing on the top floor of the parking garage, 80 S. Sixth Ave., but said they were gone when officers arrived.
