Vehicle Rolls Out Driveway
La Grange police contacted the owner of a vehicle that had appeared to have rolled out a driveway on the 100 block of north Drexel Avenue, an officer discovered at about 1:25 a.m.

Don’t Fight Over Spilled Milk
Police were called at about 7:01 p.m. to a home on the 0-100 block of north Ashland Avenue about a mother and her son arguing over spilled milk. An officer advised against fighting over spilled milk.
That Tire Looks Like the One Stolen From Me
A man possibly trying to steal a bicycle tire at the La Grange Road train station, 25 W. Burlington Ave., was reported at about 9:24 p.m. A 32-year-old La Grange man said he was looking at a tire he claimed matched one he recently had stolen. Police told him to stay away from the train station.
Driver Takes Shortcut Across Field
A person was reported driving a car through Sedgwick Park, 49th Street and 10th Avenue, at about 9:57 a.m. The driver told police she was dropping off snacks at the Babe Ruth concession stand and just decided to drive through the field instead of the parking lot. Police did not indicate whether she was ticketed.
Was That a Call from Medicare?
A La Grange resident reported at about 1:36 p.m. receiving a telephone call from someone claiming to be from Medicare. The resident called Medicare and reported nobody there said they called. The resident is working with the senior center to determine whether Medicare did call.
Truck Knocks Down Light Pole
A semi truck hit a light pole at Ogden and Brainard avenues at about 3:19 p.m., and it was found down in a parking lot.
Man Faces Drug-Related Charges
A 20-year-old Countryside man was charged with possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found in car parked on the 400 block of east Shawmut with two others at about 12:42 a.m.
Flag, Pole Stolen Outside House
A U.S. flag and pole were found at about 10:21 a.m. to have been stolen from outside a house on the 200 block of south Waiola Avenue.
Generators Fall Off Truck, Returned to Owner
A “couple” of generators that apparently fell off a truck were found on eastbound Hillgrove Avenue near La Grange Road at about 10:32 a.m. The owner returned to pick them up before police arrived.
Woman Reports Chest Pains
A 65-year-old woman reportedly having chest pains was taken by La Grange ambulance from a business on the 0-100 block of south La Grange Road to Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital at about 12:15 p.m.
Loud Party Closes Down for Night
A loud party with loud music on the back porch of a home on the 100 block of south Spring Avenue at about 10:57 p.m. was closed down with a promise that they will move inside for the night.
Vehicle Strikes, Kills Cat
A cat was reported running in and out of traffic on the 200 block of south La Grange Road at about 8:48 p.m. A police officer found a dead cat and moved it off the street to be picked up by Public Works.
