La Grange, La Grange Park Mosquito Spraying Tonight
The villages of La Grange and La Grange Park will be sprayed for mosquitoes tonight. Find out where, when and what's in mosquito fog here.
Patch has received an alert from the villages of a La Grange and La Grange Park that both are scheduled to be sprayed for mosquitoes tonight.
Spraying is scheduled to begin after 7:15 p.m. and end by midnight in both villages.
In La Grange Park, tonight, the Desplaines Mosquito Abatement District will be focused on the area west of The Indiana Harbor Belt railroad tracks and south of 31st Street.

I hardly seem to get bit, so it's hard for me to tell. I've heard from others that it hasn't been a bad summer for them. At the same time, it's a record year for West Nile, so I guess we're better safe than sorry.

Here's another question/musing that noone will care about because their all hung up on bettering the other guy on the "caption the cartoon contest". I dont think I've ever been outside when the sprayers go by, is this really what they drive? An old stolen, repainted Post Office truck?

You may need a trip to the eye doctor. That's not even close to a post office truck.
They are spraying storm sewer drain catch basins, so unless you live by one and happen to be outside during the 10 seconds they are stopped, you won't see them.

They kind of look like post office trucks to me. Either way, I'd drive a sweet Jeep with sliding side doors. I love the orange and white paint job too!
