Cuddly Cat, Kenny, Looking for Purr-Fect Home

This month, "Adopt Me!" focuses on some of the shelter's longest residents.

This month, "Adopt Me!" features cats that have been at CatNap from the Heart since before 2010.  These are not "bad" cats, they just haven't found the right family to go home with. CatNap, 1101 Beach Ave., finds the right home for every animal, whether that takes two weeks or two years.

Kenny is a somewhat shy, but cuddly long-haired black cat. He loves to snuggle in your arms, and will reward you with a loving purr. Come meet Kenny and meet a black cat with a sweet personality who is very loyal and giving. Kenny would like an experienced cat owner to help him come out of his shell.

Kenny has spent most of his life in the shelter and would like to spend some time in a home. He is available for adoption or foster. Please come into CatNap to meet Kenny today. We would love to get every cat who has been at the shelter since before 2010 into a new home for the holidays!

Adoption update: Both of the cats featured in Laurie Kapugi's Dec. 2 "About Town" column, Destiny and Tiger, have gone to new homes. While we were sad to see them leave, we are thrilled that they will be in homes for the holidays.

About this column: Adopt Me! features animals available for adoption from CatNap from the Heart in La Grange Park. For more information on this or any other animals ready for adoption, please contact CatNap at catnapqueen@yahoo.com or 708-352-3914.
