The second annual Reindeer Run will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, at the beautiful Brookfield Zoo located at 31st Street and First Avenue.  The 5K run will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the Kids Dash will start at 9:30.Join us for this 5K race through scenic Brookfield Zoo, which will be decorated for the holiday season. The fee for the Kids Dash is $10 per person and registration for the 5K walk/run is $30, which includes admission to the zoo, parking, a race T-shirt, assorted gifts from sponsors and post-race goodies. Registration will be accepted the day of the race beginning at 7 a.m. for a $40 fee. Runners with strollers may participate but must line up and start behind the runners. Bikes are not allowed in the race.Registration is available at the Reindeer Run link on www.greaterlagrangeymca.org.Come for the run, but spend the day enjoying the animals and lovely holiday decorations at the zoo.Proceeds from the race will benefit the numerous causes the Greater LaGrange YMCA supports including Special Olympics.
